 At left is the Christmas and New Year's V-Mail greeting sent by Everette Rogers to his son Timothy on December 13, 1944.

 At the time, Tim was 15 months and 11 days old and never got to see the card.

 Fifty-three years later, in 1997, he received it from his Aunt.
