Robert Leo Sterner served in the CBI Theater with a Medical Detachment, 18th General Hospital in Ledo, Assam, India and Myitkyina, Burma.
Like many veterans, he did not speak much of his service in the Army during World War II in the years that followed, so these pictures must suffice.
Robert's photos were shared by Pamela Smith as an historical reference and in the hope that somebody might find information related to their own loved one's service in CBI. |
