BLOOD CHIT SPREADING THE WORD   This illustration from a Psychological Operations (PsyOps) leaflet intended for the Chinese, demonstrates the purpose of the Blood Chit.  The American pilot, his downed plane in the background, opens his jacket to show the Blood Chit to a Chinese farmer.  This leaflet and many others like it, also included instructions to care for the flyer and identified the U.S. Flag and CBI emblem as symbols of friends.   Read about PsyOps ...
