In order to improve the presentation of the photos, some of the originals were retouched to remove blemishes or replace missing edges. Below left is the image of Loglai after cropping from the scan of the original. At right is the image after editing.

The trees from the bottom of the original photo were pasted over the blemish to create the image at right. Note the original subject matter of the photo (Loglai and the Ledo Road) has not been changed.
